It was over 12 years ago that I embarked on my first journey to Peru. It was beyond magnificent. Even after all these years I find words inadequate to describe my experience, it was truly life changing. Something awoke in me that had always been, had always existed, yet yearned for remembrance.  I invite you on this sacred journey. I am over the moon to announce that registration is now open for our fall retreat to the Sacred Valley ,Peru. Our 2022 Sacred Valley Retreat was such an amazing  experience, I cant wait to to return with this years group.

 

Our journey together will begin in Cusco, the historic city which was once the capital of the Incan empire. We will come together in community & together make our way to Pisac in the heart of the Sacred Valley. The energy of the Sacred Valley and the magical mountains that surround it  are powerful catalyst for healing and growth & the perfect container in which to create sacred space together. I believe that we, the women of the world, are being called to remember and reconnect with the sacred wisdom within that each of us carries.  It is time to tap back into the infinite well of wisdom within nature and within our own souls and re-align with it as our guiding compass. During our time together on this enchanted land we will connect through ceremonies, initiations and rites of passage to deepen into the remembering of how to trust in our inner authority and to manifest our visions of ourself and our world.

We will gather in Pisac, the heart of the Sacred Valley, for seven days of spiraling the creative currents of  the elements of fire, water, earth, and air, and sharing our deepest truths and connecting with the  medicine within, while being held in loving, raw, real sisterhood. Together we will weave our personal stories, the stories of our ancestors, the stories of nature, our collective stories as women, and embody healing through sacred movement, meditations, healing circles, rituals, ceremony, and much more.

We will begin each day with meditation, followed by yoga and breakfast. Each day will be exciting & unique.  Some days we will visit the local ruins or explore the market, while other days we will drop into ceremonial practices together. Each day in flow and timing with the days activities, there will be an opportunity to rest, restore and integrate. There are beautiful green spaces at Melissa Wasi to enjoy. You can walk or take a tuk-tuk into town to independently explore the rich culture, handmade crafts and local restaurants, or book a massage or healing offering with one of the many amazing healers that call the valley home.  We will then reconvene around the evening meal and close out our day with grounding earth wisdom practices, sharing stories and songs together.

About your retreat host............Brigette (Binesikwe) Nies currently lives in Northern Minnesota and has traveled to Peru and the Sacred Valley many times over the last 12 years.  The very first time she traveled to the Sacred Valley she fell completely in love with the magic of this land and the truly beautiful people that live there. She is beyond excited and honored to guide and hold space for this transformative adventure. Binesikwe is the owner of Ancient Traditions Healing and has been empowering women through her work and Womens Circles for many years.  She is a Body Worker, Soul Wisdom Coach, Yoga & Meditation Instructor, Master Herbalist and has been journeying with and learning from the sacred plant teachers of Peru since 2009. She will be guiding the daily meditation & yoga practices, the integration circles and some of the sacred ceremonies we will experience during our time together. " The intention of this Womens Wisdom retreat is to rediscover our connection to our inner wisdom and our true  nature.
